About Zurich

Anna Koran, in partnership with Nick McCullough and their elite team known simply as “Zurich,” is in the business of providing safe passage to dignitaries, princes, wealthy businessmen, the U.S. Secretary of Commerce and the Speaker of the House as they travel throughout the world. Their stories lead down the dusty streets of Cairo, through a high-risk border crossing in Berlin, finding passion in Rome and experiencing the unforgiving streets of Havana. Through these travels, the team becomes forever entwined with the covert operations of the Mossad.

Risky Berlin Crossing

Buzz and Harris were crouched behind some wooden crates when Harris said, “Here they come.”  He drew his weapon and Buzz did the same.  They watched as Nick, Anna and Volker approached the guard at the gate and handed him their passports.  The guard opened and looked at all of the passports, and then he turned to another guard and called him over to where they stood.  He showed him the passports and began speaking quickly in German.  Sanders was approaching and could hear that they were questioning Volker’s passport.  He stepped up to them and said in German, “What is going on here?  I am in a hurry.  How long are you going to be anyway?”  One of the guards started to bring his weapon up, motioned Sanders to step back, and told him in German to be quiet.  The guard was asking Volker a question and Volker responded with what appeared to be an innocent answer.  Sanders said again, “I’m in a hurry!” and the guard brought the weapon up and aimed it at Sanders.  One of the other guards circled around behind Nick and patted his waist.  He reached into Nick’s jacket and pulled out his weapon.  He stuck it in the front of his pants and backed up with his weapon pointed at Nick.  There were now two trained weapons on the four of them.  Harris said, “I got the two on the left, closest to the building.  You take the other two.  On three.  One… two… three!!”  Harris and Buzz popped up from behind the crates and shot simultaneously.  Their silencers muted the sound; the four guards dropped to the ground.  Anna grabbed Volker’s arm and turned towards Dave.  She said, “Let’s go!” as she opened the border gate.  Volker hurried through.  Nick went over to the one guard who was lying face down.  He rolled him over and grabbed his gun from the guard’s pants, then hurried toward the gate.  Just then, he heard some shouts coming from behind him.  Gunfire rang out.  Nick yelled, “Let’s GO, let’s GO!!”
