“A state of temporary inactivity.” (Merriam Webster). Yes, we have been in a state of “abeyance” for quite some time with respect to our writing, and to our posts on BB Novels’ website. For that, we can only humbly apologize to our readers.

However, having said that, we must also say that as much as you love what you do, sometimes “life” just gets in the way. Both Ron and I have learned that in the last few years, but perhaps it was a larger lesson for me, than for him. I missed my writing immensely!

We have dealt with family losses, significant health concerns for both of us, and a myriad of other life issues in the last few years that truly took the wind out of our sails, and left us quite drained and uninspired. Someone once said that it is impossible to be creative if you are distracted or stressed. No truer words were ever spoken. But, as of this posting, we’re delighted to say that that little, stormy cloud seems to have moved on and we are seeing our blue skies again. That means you can expect a bit more of our writings to come your way!

That’s not to say that we have been completely sitting on our laurels. Oh, no. We have re-edited our first book, Esperance, to make it a better reading with a smoother storyline. It has been retitled Esperance (Abridged). The ebook format is now available on Amazon and our paperback format will be available within a few days. You can visit our link on Esperance’s page on this site and click the Amazon button at the end to take you to where you can purchase your copy of this new edition.

In the meantime, work continues on The R.I.P. Files and East Moon, West Wind.

If you have any comments, please feel free to leave them or contact us at bbnovels@gmail.com.

We will leave you with a quote from our lead character:

“It’s good to hear your voice again.”

— (Nick McCullough, Zurich and Zurich Legacy).
